Here is one question to consider:
It is the middle of January and
5 degrees below zero with a bad snow storm and -20 degree
wind-chill. You are in a nice warm bed at 2:30am next to
your significant other sound asleep. You have to get up
for work in 4 hours. You then hear the sound of a pager
going off and it is for a house that is fully involved with
fire. You can stay in bed all nice and warm with your
significant other or you can get up, get dressed and drive to
the firehouse, put on 100 pounds of extra weight, and go fight
the fire becoming a human popsicle.

-All applicants are subject to a NYS Arson and Driver's License check prior to being voted on by the membership.
-All applicants should reside within the Rotterdam Fire District 6 boundaries.

Fill our application and either print it out and bring it to the firehouse on any Wednesday evening between the hours of 7:00pm and 9:00pm or you can submit it via email from the form.
